Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships

The Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships is responsible for planning and leading revenue development initiatives for the Affiliate. The position is responsible for ensuring the success and diversification of revenue development strategies with emphasis on annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, third party events, foundation support, national programs and special events, including Race for the Cure®.

This position requires an ability to build strong relationships with individual and corporate donors, advertising and marketing agencies, sponsors, vendors, the Board of Directors, volunteers, and colleagues. This individual is committed to the Susan G. Komen mission and will be charged with identifying creative and sustainable donor development programs which will enable the Affiliate to capitalize on diverse revenue channels, with a donor-centric focus.

Development Manager, Special Events

The Development Manager, Special Events creates strategies that increase donor participation with outcomes that lead to stronger affinity and philanthropic support of the Affiliate. This position is responsible for organizing and facilitating fundraising events in collaboration with the Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships. The position is responsible for diversifying and expanding current fundraising, stewardship and cultivation strategies including Race for the Cure® registration and fundraising, third party event cultivation, and other special events.

This position requires an ability to build strong relationships with individual and corporate donors, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and colleagues. The ideal candidate has a proven record of accomplishment in aggressive fundraising goals through successful donor development programs to advance the mission of the organization.
